Nomi City, Japan – 11 March 2012 - India’s national record-holder Gurmeet Singh, who already attained the Olympic qualification with a 1:22:05 clocking in Dublin last year, had won a silver medal in the annual Asian 20 Km Race Walking championships held at Nomi City this morning.

Athletics Canada - News - Rachel Seaman lowers Canadian mark; Race walkers dip below Olympic standards in Germany
Peterborough, Ont.'s Rachel Seaman bettered the Canadian record she had previously set on Saturday in the women's 20km race walk. In Naumburg, Germany she clocked in at 1:33:33 finishing third and surpassing her previous best of 1:33:43 established earlier this season.
