Jonesku and Terzic win at European Athletics Cross Country Permit meeting in Belgrade - European Athletics (EAA) - NEWS
Over 1,000 runners from seven countries participated in the seven race categories that included seniors', juniors', and veterans' races.
Marius Jonesku of Romania won the men's seniors title at the 43rd edition of White Cross - Belikros, the last race in the series of European Athletics Cross Country Permit meetings of the 2009-10 season, in Belgrade, Serbia, on Sunday.
The 25-year-old clocked 25:48.00 in the 8000m race to clinch the top prize ahead of local boy Velimir Bojović (26:16.00) and Slovenia's Mitja Kosovelj, who finished in 26:20.00.
In the women's race, local girls Amela Terzić and Ana Subotić bagged the top two positions in the 3000m race, clocking 10:26.00 and 10:57.00 respectively. Slovenia's Lucija Krkoč finished third, crossing the finish line in 11:00.00.

A special race was organised for the police and military forces along with an open race for the general public called "Sports for All."
