On 19-24 July, 2012, the International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport 2012 (ICSEMIS) will take place at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Glasgow, Scotland.
The main theme of the 2012 Convention is Inspiring a Learning Legacy. This interdisciplinary event will bring together sport and exercise scientists and world leading experts from all scientific branches.
It also adds wider value to society through its extensive public engagement and publication programmes.

The submission period for papers has now closed with over 2,000 abstracts received in total by the Scientific Committee.
These are being reviewed currently and authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by 14 February 2012.
Researchers, students and practitioners from every branch of sport and exercise are invited to attend and to share this unique opportunity for multi-and interdisciplinary scientific exchange.
Early bird registrations remain available until 23rd March 2012.
