Anna Rogowska the 2009 world champion will also be a strong candidate for victory in Istanbul finished third
Holly Bleasdale produced a spirited pole vault display at the Pedro Cup meet in Bydgoszcz on Wednesday before losing on countback to world record holder Yelena Isinbayeva.
Bleasdale who last month produced a then 2012 world leader when raising her British record to 4.87 metres in Villeurbane, France, cleared a height of 4.68 metres with her third attempt.
But her Russian rival whose three-year-old world record stands at 5.00m achieved the same mark with her second effort and as both athletes failed all three vaults with the bar at 4.80m, clinched victory.
However 20-year-old Bleasdale who dropped to third on the World Indoor All-Time list when American Jenn Suhr cleared 4.88m at the New Balance Boston Indoor Games last Saturday, confirmed she will be amongst the favourites to win next month's IAAF World Championships gold medal.
Anna Rogowska the 2009 world champion will also be a strong candidate for victory in Istanbul finished third. In her first competition of the year the Polish star had a best effort of 4.60m.
Likewise Yarisley Silva 24, an outstanding fifth at World Outdoor Championships in Dague last summer showed her appetite for indoor competition posting a Cuban record of 4.60m with Russia's Svetlana Feofanova fifth with a best effort of 4.52m.
