From 6-8 July, 2010 ICSSPE’s Board Meetings and the 24th General Assembly were held in Havana, Cuba.
Among other structural and strategic decisions made during these meetings, it was agreed that, at the request of the International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the United Nations Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities be supported and recommendations to Article 30 of the Convention be endorsed.
Furthermore, Herbert Haag, Germany was reelected as Speaker of the Associations´ Board and additionally, Maria Dinold (University of Vienna, Austria) was elected as an Associations´ Board Representative to the Executive Board. The following people were also elected as new members of the ICSSPE Executive Board:

- Daniela Dasheva (National Sports Academy, Bulgaria)
- Luminita Georgescu (University of Pitesti, Romania)
